Description
To make the 2020 edition of Barrel Strength Rye Michter’s took US*1 Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye at barrel strength and then aged it for an additional period in a second barrel. This second barrel is assembled from 24 month air-dried wood and then toasted. The whiskey takes on enhanced spice notes and delicate chocolate overtones balanced by vanilla and honey, hints of roasted nuts and dates, with a lingering finish of burnt brown sugar reminiscent of creme brulee.1 bottle limit
