The fifth installment in the Whiskey Row Series, 1924 is a 10-year-old whiskey that debuts a new mash bill for Old Forester. Rather than the traditional recipe of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, 1924 new mash bill is 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley. Notes of soft fudge, cocoa, marzipan, and cured tobacco layered over hints of rich oak and warm cinnamon. The palate opens with chocolate-covered graham cracker dusted with cinnamon. The finish has hints of spice and graham cracker crumbles.2 bottle limit
