This 2021 Chardonnay is up there with the best vintages of this wine produced to date. From the nose--fresh citrus zest, bright melon and tropical notes prevail. And the midpalate--a lush, round and satisfying mouthfeel that’s just kissed by oak. Light, friendly acidity balances this wine out wonderfully and takes it home with a fresh, lingering, mineral-driven finish. Pair with poached shrimp salad over butter lettuce or grilled spatchcocked chicken with lemon, butter and herbs. Dessert your thing? Orange olive oil cake with honeycomb-flecked whipped cream.
