Sure, it has the violets and spice of great Cote Rotie, but also a dense and delicious Syrah luxuriance you want to bite off and chew. Very few of these bottles were made. The vines average 40 years old from schist soils, and in the hands of an artist like Louis Barruol, this might ruin you to all other wines from this region.
