For this double Finish, French Oak staves are steeped in maple syrup using a patented process of pressure, oxygen, time and temperature. After RD1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is aged for 4+ years, the maple-steeped French Oak staves are inserted into the barrel for additional aging. The end result is like the best stack of pancakes you’ve ever had.
